We know that it takes a team to implement change.  If one - or multiple - parts of that team is not fully committed, the ‘win’ does not happen. We are committed. And so we seek out exceptional individuals who know that something requires tweaking but are not sure of what it is, who are explorative of their inner panorama and inquisitive about what needs to change. Like champion athletes, they continuously push themselves to exceed, to surpass, to be their best self. They have attended conferences and workshops, read books and articles about leadership skills for the 21st century, the need for a diverse workforce, better inclusion models, an increasing demand for innovation, or they have noticed improvement in a colleague, and are endlessly curious.

Yet, the inevitable question arises: I am successful and at the top of my game, so why do I need you?

Our response has not changed: Do you know any top athlete who does not have a coach?

Our clients are accomplished leaders, entrepreneurs, makers, creators, and world changers. Just like other inspirational champions, they need support, conditioning, stretching, and feedback so they can continue to play at the top of their game.

RULES OF

ENGAGEMENT

We believe in transparency because it leads to meaningful connections and allows you to be authentically ‘you’. Therefore, we have rules of engagement in order to establish appropriate boundaries, ensure that our motives are clear, and keep the end purpose within sight. In other words, you always know where you stand and where you are heading. These expectations free you to focus on your goals and challenges unencumbered.


 

PARTNERSHIP

A coaching partnership is a co-designed, safe, and judgment-free space where clients can think out loud, investigate, test assumptions, and sort through complexities to reach a state of clarity.

 

 

ACTION

Coaching is a future-oriented process geared towards setting goals and attaining results. It’s a verb--it’s all about doing.

 

 

COURAGE

Open and honest communication in a coaching relationship is essential to attaining meaningful and sustainable results for the client. Clients must have the courage to be open and use the coaching opportunity to take a good look ‘under the hood’ and illuminate opportunities for improvement and growth.

 

 

TRUST

Establishing explicit confidentiality and reporting criteria for all parties is essential to building the trust needed for effective coaching.

 

 

GOALS

Clients must come prepared with ‘what’ they wish to achieve over the engagement timeframe and within each session. Coaches can assist clients with ‘how’ to get to their destination, but only if the destination is known.

 

 

PROCESS

It takes time to learn, think, and grow. Clients who embrace the knowledge that change requires time, patience, and work are most successful in attaining deep, serious, and enduring results.

 

 

RESULTS

Are based on the client’s commitment to the process. Strategies for measuring progress will be established early and include a baseline at the beginning and an evaluation at the end of the engagement.
